626 Goes West….. Acquires the Leading X-Ray, Sales and Service Company in Northern California

Already the fastest-growing third-party company in the Healthcare Technology Management market, 626 Holdings, LLC now announces the acquisition of California Radiographics, Inc. (CRI).

“CRI could not be a better fit. From a culture standpoint, a modality strengthening, a geographic expansion and listening to our customer’s needs, CRI hits on all objectives. We are very excited about our future with CRI”, stated Philip Revien, CEO of 626. “The core question Phil and I continue to ask ourselves: is this the best move for our customer? If the answer is yes and it will increase our value to our customers and their patients, we have our answer”, says Michael Fischer, President, 626.

In business since 1977 and based in Soquel, CA, CRI is the leading OEM and third-party provider in the X-Ray space throughout most of California. From technical support with parts identification to new and used equipment sales, service, installation and de-installation, CRI delivers an end-to-end solution for medical X-Ray to multiple channels. “CRI and 626 have a lot in common. Both are family businesses, founded as high-quality, agile, cost advantageous, solutions for OEM and aftermarket service and support for our varied customer base. We have been and will remain dedicated to our employees, customers, and their patients. After spending time planning next steps for optimal CRI growth with Phil and Michael, there was no doubt that the best decision was an alliance with 626”, said Roger Buttacavoli, General Manager, CRI.

626’s purchase of Walsh Imaging in 2017, ISS in 2019, PhiGEM in 2020, and both ICE and DigitecMedical earlier this year, follows their approach to base acquisitions on what matters most to them; family. This method has proven to be successful as they were able to double Walsh Imaging and ISS business within two years and they plan to do the same with CRI. Between 626, Walsh Imaging, ISS, PhiGEM, ICE, DigitecMedical and CRI, they have 168 years of family business behind them and they are not stopping there. Watch out. That’s one big and growing family.
